- NA PROJECT SYNOPSIS 260170A Construct Origanizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) SOLICITATION NOTICE Fort Custer Training Center, Augusta, Michigan plans to construct a new Organizational Maintenance Shop in which the contractor shall be responsible for all plant, labor, materials, supervision and equipment . The project consists of 17,500 square feet of work bay/maintenance area and 12,600 square feet of administration area, bathroom/shower/locker area together with mechanical and electrical areas. Items of work include earthwork, excavation, sub-grade site utilities and site drainage, asphalt and concr ete paving, fencing, concrete footing and foundations, concrete flatwork, masonry, structural steel, steel trusses, metal roof deck, rigid insulation, single-ply and shingle roofing, metal siding, gypsum wall panels, interior finishes, interior and exterio r doors and windows, electrical/lighting, communication and security systems, mechanical, plumbing, shop vehicle ventilation, overhead doors and 35 ton crane. . This solicitation is being considered for 100% Historically Underutilized Business (HUB Zone) s etaside. If two or more qualified HUB Zone contractors do not respond by 27 Aug with interest, the project will be issued as unrestricted with out further advertisement. In order to receive a contract award as result of this solicitation, CONTRACTORS MUST BE LISTED IN THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR?S REGISTRY (CCR). Information regarding CCR is provided on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov . NAICS code of 233310 is applicable to this procurement. Solicitation will be issued on or about 27 August 2002 and will be available via the web. Address is http://www.selfridgecontracting.com. Click on solicitations (top left blue box). You will be required to register for the solicitation before you can download. This registration will also ensure an e-mail will be sent ensuring all contractors receive all modifications/amendments. The magnitude for this procurement is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. FUNDING IS ANTICIPATED PRIOR TO 30 SEPT EMBER 2002.
