Box 208, Belfast ME 04915 on the basis of other than full and open competition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1. A Firm Fixed Price purchase order is anticipated. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR Q UOTATION. The proposed purchase order is for the following: 1) Fabrication of 750 Each, Improved Aircrew Battledress Uniform Costs, in a variety of sizes, conforming to a modified version of class 1 of MIL-C-44371B draft dated 10 Dec 2001; and 2) Fabrica tion of 750 Each, Improved Aircrew Battledress Uniform Trousers, in a variety of sizes, conforming to a modified version of class 1 of MIL-C-44372B draft dated 10 Dec 2001 The Government will provide a tariff of sizes required and a copy of draft specific ations, and draft patterns. This acquisition is a follow-on initiative required to complete Air Warrior RDT&E testing to validate the draft technical documentation. Once testing has been completed Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) will, under ful l and open competition, proceed to a production procurement using the revised specification and final patterns. Award to another company would result in duplication of costs and delay the final end results. This is not a request for competitive quotation s. However, the Government will consider all quotations received with five (5) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses is solely within the discre tion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by mailing in formation identified in FBO Numbered Note 22 to the U. S.
