Description

NA The work consists of dredging approximately 1,700,000 cubic yards, comprised of maintenance material from a project channel with a width of 125-215 feet to required depth of 12 to 16 feet below Mean Low Tide and 2 feet of allowable overdepth. Material wil l be placed in unconfined and confined Placement Areas. Placement Area levees will be raised and Drop outlets will be repaired. The cost range for this project is between $1 to $5 million. The North american Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. The Small Business Size Standard is 28.5 Million and will is advertised UNRESTECTED. The Galveston District Subcontracting goals are: Small Business 61.4%; Small Disadvantages Business, 9.1%; Woman-Owned Small Busin ess 5.0% Veteran Owned Small Business 3.0% ; HubZone Small Business 3.0%, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business 3.0%; Bid Opening will be held in Room 185. The plans and specifications will be provided on compact disc (CD-ROM), on the issue date. Notification of amendments shall be made through the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
