Description

NA The Army requires a firm fixed price construction contract for Exterior Painting and Miscellaneous Repairs at Family Housing Areas 14, 15, 16, and 17, Fort Stewart, Georgia, completed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings, and subject to th e terms and conditions of the Contract. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items: Painting Bus Shelters and Mailboxes, Removing/Replacing Deteriorated Siding, Deteriorated Wood Wall Studs, and Wall Insulation. Remove/Re pair Black Wall Board Insulation, Deteriorated or Missing Aluminum Corner Molding, Deteriorated or Missing Wood Post, Missing Post Plate, Deteriorated Rafter, Deteriorated Soffit or Ceiling, Deteriorated Fascia, Deteriorated Wood Trim, Deteriorated Wood Sc reen Boards, Remove/Reinstall Existing Gutters and Downspouts, Deteriorated Metal Handrail Support and Handrail, and Fascia Board. This work will be accomplished on single and multi-family residences. Performance time is 210 days. This acquisition is u nrestricted. The NAICS Code is 235210. The size standard is $27.5. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 and is Subject to Availability of Funds. The best estimate for issuance of the solicitation is on or about August 23, 2002.
