- Description
- The United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps System Command (USMC), Battle Space Management and Air Defense Systems (BMADS) Radar Systems Program Manager is seeking information on the ability to develop and produce a high mobility, high performance, affordable Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS) used to support the USMC Tactical Air Operations (TAO), Air Traffic Control (ATC), Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) and Ground Weapons Locating (GWL) missions. The radar should be able to detect, track, and acquire all air breathing targets (ABTs), in all terrain, weather, and electronic attack environments. The radar should have a very low false track rate and sufficient clutter cancellation/sub-clutter visibility to maintain full sensitivity against very low flying ABTs in the presence of land, sea, insects, and urban clutter as well as ducting. Track quality shall be sufficient to suppo rt cooperative engagement capability (CEC) and to support Complementary Low Altitude Weapons System (CLAWS) and High Mobility Artiller
