Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with Safe Software Inc. for the perpetual use of SafeAccess software license, this can be accomplished under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source. The contractor is the sole United States agent for this proprietary software. There are no other known sources that could provide this highly specialized software that Safe Software Inc. provides. Therefore, award will be made to Safe Software Inc. unless another contractor indicates their ability to provide such services by August 30, 2002. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order for a period of one year.
