Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide an irrigation well system which consist of two agricultural type wells including vertical turbine pumps and gear drives at Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge per statement of work. The contractor shall coordinate with the Refuge Manager the exact locations of the two wells. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 235810. The size standard is $12.0. The estimated price range is from $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 09/03/2002. Requests for RFQ shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401812Q298, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days contract period from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 9/16/2002. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests may be faxed to (404)679-4057. There is no charge for obtaining the solicitation; however, only one copy to each company per request.
