Description

Provide engineering services to manage the implementation and operation of the National Weather Service (NWS) Environmental Compliance, Safety, and Health (ES&H) programs within the Eastern Region of the NWS. Work consists of assisting in the management of the program, generate an information database for sites identified in sow, develop a checklist, identify training courses and modules and other requirements as stated in the statement of work. Work to be performed at the National Weather Service Eastern Region Headquarters, 630 Johnson Avenue, Bohemia, NY. It is estimated that approximately 20 round trips to various sites in the 10 eastern states will be required. It is estimated that 1,840 staff hours will be required to perform this work. Period of performance is from on or about September 1, 2002 through September 1, 2003 This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will be available online at FEDBIZOPS only.
