Description

The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS-NOAA Fisheries) is issuing a Broad Agency Announcement to solicit Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) tagging proposals addressing two levels of implementation, as described in the announcement. A number of contracts will be issued as a result of this solicitation. A website has been established to provide public access to the BAA package at http://www.nero.nmfs.gov. Interested parties may access the announcement from this page. Questions regarding proposal submission may be addressed via e-mail to Michelle.R.Morales@noaa.gov and shall reference this announcement. All tagging proposals to be considered under this solicitation must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT, on September 13, 2002. Postmarks will not be sufficient. Facsimile submission will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that only Contracting Officers are legally authorized to commit the Government to an award under this announcement. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Institutions (MIs) are encouraged to apply.
