- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Office of Special Programs (HHS/HRSA/OSP) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Academy for Health Services Research and Health Policy (the Academy) Washington, DC, for the purpose of modifying an existing contract. The purpose of this modification to the contract is to revise and finalize the production of the "Final Report" to the Secretary on the aggregate results of HRSA's State Planning Grants Program (SPG) for the first 20 grantees. To produce the necessary reports, the contractor shall continue to: (1) provide technical assistance to 20 SPG grantees on developing their updated reports, as appropriate to their funding year and grant status; (2) analyze the individual State grantee applications, reports, progress reports, and updated activity reports; and (3) use this information to prepare the overall draft and Final Reports to the Secretary. The Government in accordance with 41, U.S.C. 253(c) (1) has determined the Academy as the only responsible source, without substantial duplication of cost to the Government, capable of producing these services. A Justification of Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. No solicitation document currently exists; therefore, requests for such documents shall be considered an invalid response.
