- Description
- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, with the University of Oklahoma under Contract No. N01-AI-95360 for the BAA-Application of HLA Data to Develop and Improve Vaccines. This modification will aid in the elution and sequencing of peptides presented by HLA-A, HLA-B, and HLA-C molecules from cells infected with viral agents. The findings from this study will assist in a more focused approach to vaccine development in the future. Inherent duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in competing this effort make competition unfeasible for this study. See Numbered Note 22.
