- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Team (NAST), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for Administrative and Clerical Support Services under Solicitation Number N00421-01-R-0172. This effort will be competed on a full and open (i.e. unrestricted) basis. The requirements, which are described in a Performance Based Work Statement (PWS), include Correspondence and Reports, Travel, Time and Attendance, Mail Management, and General Administrative Support. These functions are currently performed by a Government workforce. Pursuant to OMB Circular A-76, Commercial Activities Study, procedures, private sector offerors will be assessed using source selection criteria to determine the offeror for cost comparison to the Government. Accordingly, a contract may or may not ultimately be awarded as a result of the study/cost comparison. If a contractor is selected as the most cost effective service provided, an award will be made in accordance with OMB Circular No. A-76 in conjunction with all other applicable Government and Navy acquisition regulations. The solicitation contains information relative to Organizational Conflict of Interest clauses. All responsible sources may download a copy of the solicitation and attend the site visit scheduled for 30 AUGUST 2002.
