- THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Carrie Grimard via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at grimard_carrie@crane.navy.mil Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Provide necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for construction of new metal framed enclosed canopy over an existing dock area at Building 2074. Work includes providing and installing new overhead coiling doors and lights inside of the new canopy, relocating existing overhead doors, and incidental related work. This is a lump sum contract, awarded on a fixed-price basis. Completion time is 55 calendar days after contract award. Estimated cost range is less than $100,000.00. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance and performance narrative. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price. NAICS Code is 235990 ? All other special trade contractors with a size standard of $12.0 million. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Approximate release date is Friday, August 16, 2002 with proposals due at 4:00 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday, August 27, 2002.
