- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEM (S) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52-232-33 (Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer --Central Contractor Registration May 1999) and DFARS 252.204-7004 (Required Central Contractor Registration - Nov 2001) require registration in the CCR database. CONTRACTORS MAY REGISTER ON-LINE AT HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV/. IT'S MANDATORY TO OBTAIN A DUNS NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTERING. CALL DUN & BRADSTREET (1-800-333-0505) TO OBTAIN. AWARD CANNOT BE MADE UNLESS REGISTERED. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F08650-02-T-0241 is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 and thru Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20020730. This procurement is set aside for all responsible small businesses. The NAICS Code and business size standard is 333415/3585. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 45 CONS, Patrick AFB, FL, has a requirement for the following: Line Item 1: 2 each Unit Price: _______ TOTAL PRICE: _____________ Description: AdvancAir Cooling Unit. Mobile cooling cart mounted on a 4 full swiveling casters (4 polyurethane wheels) with brakes. Unit is powered by 120V/208V three phase power through an integral power cord, 60 feet long with a Hubbell HBL26419 plug. Unit to include a 48,000 BTH/hr (4 Ton) compressor and 6KW electric reheat coil. Pre-filters and output/discharge filters are such that operations can be maintained at Class 100,000 cleanliness or better (includes HEPA filter on condenser outlet). Outlet air temp to be adjustable between 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit (based on 70 degree Fahrenheit ambient air) and a max flow rate of 700 cfm @ 1.5WG, adjustable by a frequency controlled blower. The temperature stability shall be within +/- 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit of the set point. Each unit has integral controls, including a (read only) humidity sensor and manually activated condensate pump. A remote monitor and control capability to allow for monitoring/changing temperature and humidity set points, including a 50-foot cable with RS232 PC interface along with associated software. Each cooling unit includes four 25-foot long smooth wall (4 foot) flex ducts. Also includes on-site start-up and training. Place of delivery: Det 8 SMC, BLDG 55893, Cape Canaveral AFS, FL. FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (May 2002) shall be completed and submitted with the proposal. FAR clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (Feb 2002). FAR clause 52.212-5 (Deviation) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (April 2001) hereby applies to this acquisition.
