Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3827. Small business size standard is 500. NAICS is 333314. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking sources for the anticipated purchase of the following two items. *(1) One (1) Off Axis Parabolic Mirror, Reference # OAPM 50-7.75-8.0/10. Mirror to include a focal length of 50in., off-axis distance of 7.75in., measured from optic axis to mirror center, diameter 8.0, surface accuracy /10. *(2) Three (3) Gimbal Mirror Mounts with Locking Adjusters. Reference Number: GMM-08L. Anodized aluminum type mounts to hold a minimum size mirror of 5.83in. and maximum diameter of 8.00in., and mirror thickness of .236in. through 1.18in. Overall mount width 13.90in. and height of 13.50in. Mounting slots in base plate are 1/4-20 clearance and 5.91in. by 3.94in. Clutch nut on axis for mirror will allow the mirror to be oriented in any course position. Clutch nuts with up to +/- 2 degrees fine adjustment using lockable adjustment screws. *Minimum salient characteristics have been provided above. Also, please use the reference numbers as an additional guide to the salient characteristics of the items. FOB Destination is the Government preferred method of shipping. Please submit FOB Destination shipping information with all submittals to the office.
