Description

Services Nonpersonal: Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform all operations in connection with the inspection, recharging and maintenance of Dry and Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishing Systems, Portable Fire Extinguishers and 150 pound Halon Wheel Flight Line Fire Extinguishers. The line items for the Halon Wheel Flight Line Fire Extinguishers will be option line items. The Government reserves the right to exercise the option line items at the time of award. The performance period includes one base period and two option periods. The base period is from 1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03. Option period one is from 1 Oct 03 to 30 Sep 04. Option period two is from 1 Oct 04 to 30 Sep 05. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract terms and conditions, the statement of work and all applicable NFPA regulations. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote. This action is 100% set aside for Small Businesses (NAICS 541380/$6 Mil threshold). Solicitation is being electronically issued via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. Estimated issue date is 21 Aug 02. The award will be made in the form of a firm fixed priced purchase order. Subject to FY03 funds.
