Description
NA Sources Sought - The Communications and Electronics Command CECOM) Acquisition Center and PM Navigation Systems are seeking sources for providing low cost self-contained navigation solutions that may satisfy the Army?s Interim and Objective Force vehicles and those that may satisfy dismounted warriors (ie Land Warrior/Objective Force Warrior). The purpose of this announcement is to survey the availability of navigation devices, performance characteristics and price. The self-contained navigation solutions of interest include Dead Reckoning System to Inertial Navigation Systems. Interested sources are requested to provide the following information regarding their product: description, weight, dimensions, power consumption, thermal operating range, shock re sistance, position accuracy, angular accuracy, heading stability, mean time between failure, capability to interface to a GPS receiver card via ICD-153, and any additional capabilities. Accuracy for Dead Reckoning Systems should be represented in terms of percent of distance traveled. Provide details on the quality of the odometer used to evaluate the stated accuracy. Accuracy for Inertial Navigation Systems should be represented in terms of Circular Error Probable over time (km/hr). Also request accura cies for azimuth and heading in terms of MILS RMS. Details with regard to gyro bias, accelerometer bias, stability and random walk are requested. Request test reports/data to substantiate accuracy statements. Pricing data is requested for quantities of 1 , 100, 1,000 and 10,000. Pricing data should include necessary cabling and accessories for vehicle or soldier mounting. This survey is also issued IAW the requirements of FAR Part 10 to determine the applicability of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
