Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, operating supplies, and the necessary qualified personnel, facilities, and support to analyze and synthesize existing information to prepare an existing data review of Lander Trail-related historical cultural resources. The existing data review shall identify the range and distribution of Lander Trail-related historical property types and the historic contexts applicable to the study area. All periods of use, context of the use (i.e. Fur Trade, Emigration Era, Expansion era, Early settlement) will be considered. Other sources to be consulted include historic ranching documents, County Records, and local histories. BLM will assist in the identification of key local sources. Existing data may be obtained from published and unpublished documents, BLM and institutional site files, oral histories, and other sources. Appendix A includes a list of potential sources. This scope of work does not require a detailed description and tabulation of all individual site records within the study area. The background research should be sufficient to prepare a document. Refer to the actual Statement of Work. This work is located out of the Pinedale Field Office District, Sublette County, Wyoming. The Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period of 365 calendar days has been established. With a tentative start date of approximately 16 September 2002 time frame. Tentative issuance of this solicitation is on or about August 20, 2002 and a closing date or on or about September 11 2002, please refer to actual dates in the solicitation. Plan accordingly no fax bids will be accepted. Ensure you reference the solicitation number, title, and enclose your complete mailing address on the "Notice to Offeror" affixed to the outside of the envelope, or written on the outside of the envelope.
