Description
The U. S. Department of Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS), intends to award a sole source purchase order to Open Software Technologies, Inc., 94 Douglas Avenue, Suite 100, Altamont Spring, FL 32714 for three perpetual CPU licenses to the REXXTOOLS/MVS Basic Services, Dynamic SQL, and Static SQL components. Model numbers 9672-R75 for Group 80 processor at Hyattsville, Maryland, 9672-RA6 for Group 40 processor at Hyattsville, Maryland and 9672-RA6 for Group 40 process at Kansas City, Missouri, must include maintenance. Th product is being requested to provide enhancements to the mainframe REXX programming language as provided by IBM with the MVS operating system. Included in the REXX language enhancements are static and dynamic SQL interfaces for the DB/2 database environment. This functionality is required by the PAM project for developing an input management process that interfaces with DB/2 databases. Additional features of RexxTools/MVS will support system level processing such as automated operations, developing custom utilities and improving system performance. These additionally RexxTools/MVS features include: Rexx access methods for VSAM, IDACAMS, BPAM and QSAM, a Rex interpretive compiler, MVS & TSO service functions such as Global Variables, and APPC/MVS and TCP/IP aids for client/server enablement and developing Internet applications. Small Business Set a Side. Using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items, to our knowledge they are the only dealer who distributes and maintains IBM REXX language. Site for the above is 1) Financial Management Service in Hyattsville, MD 20782 and 2) Kansas City Financial Center, Kansas City, MO 64117. By limiting the number of vendors access to this information greatly reduces the compromising of this system. No other documents exist.
