Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to contract with Honeywell International Incorporated, Defense Avionics Systems, Teterboro, NJ for all depot level maintenance, field support services, engineering support services and spare parts necessary to sustain Overhaul and Repair Services for an unspecified number of Integrated Avionics Systems (IAS) used on the MH-47E and MH-60K Special Operations Aircraft (SOA). Services shall be performed at Ft. Campbell Kentucky, the manufacturer's facilities and aircraft deployment locations as may be dictated by circumstances. The basic period of performance shall be 1 January 2003 through 30 September 2003. The contract shall contain four (4) one year (1) options. Honeywell International Inc. is the designer, developer and manufacturer of the highly sophisticated IAS hardware including the Display Systems incorporated into the Aircraft's Integrated Avionics System. The Government has only limited data rights. Honeywell owns all proprietary data and special test equipment required for the Display Systems. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the U.S. Special Operations Command. Note 22 applies.
