- NA Anniston Army Depot is seeking companies who have the capability to manage an on-site industrial supply store to include the order, receipt, inventory, issue, and delivery of supplies to production shops, as well as the disposal of outdated materials. Th e store will support a multi-mission industrial base recognized for heavy combat vehicle expertise and weapons. Supplies include items such as masking tape, paper goods and rags, an array of brushes, batteries, bottles, as well as paints, lubricants, seal ants, and cleaning products which may be hazardous or pose an environmental risk . Work required consists of the management and staffing of an on-site paint warehouse, industrial consumable supply facility, the provision for “walk-up” service for Governme nt customers, and the distribution of paint and some other consumable materials to satellite areas. All hazardous materials transactions shall be recorded in existing government-owned Hazardous Materials Management System (HMMS) software. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, transportation, personal protective clothing and equipment, phone and mail service required in the performance of these services. We envision a phased approach to conversion from a government-managed to contractor managed s ervice. We are open to any efficient, economical approach. PHASE 1 . Paint Supplies and Distribution consisting of receipt and distribution from main warehouse, operation of storefront walk-up service for low-volume users, stock replenishment at satelli te storage areas, and retrieval and disposition of outdated material. PHASE 2 consisting of transition of paint supplies and distribution into an on-site, existing central industrial supply store and the maintenance of that service, distribution of curren t consumable stock, operation of storefront walk-up service for low volume users, replacement of current stock with contractor provided consumables, kitting and distribution of specialized shop consumables. Interested companies are requested to provide br ochures, literature, published price lists, and descriptions of other similar projects they have successfully managed, not later than 15 calendar days after synopsis appears in the CBD.
