Description

THIS SOLICITATION IS ADVERTISED FOR CERTIFIED 8(a) BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT (BOA) HOLDERS WITH NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND, SOUTHERN DIVISION IN THE SBA DISTRICT OF GEORGIA. The Project involves INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING, BUILDING 2200, MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE, ALBANY, GEORGIA. The work consists of painting exteriors of Buildings 2215, 2203, Transmission Shop, 2201, 2206, 2207, 2208, 2209, Body Shop and the interiors of Shops 745, 749, 711, 712, 726, 727, 716, 741, 742, 744, 734, 747, and incidental related work. There is a total area of approximately 49,431 square feet of exterior painting and 88,035 square feet of interior painting. The total estimated value of the acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS Code is 235210. Proposals will be evaluated using LOW PRICE/TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. Technical Factors include Past Performance and Technical Qualifications. The Government reserves the right to Reject any or all proposals at any time prior to award; negotiate with any or all offerors or award without discussions or any contact concerning proposals. The Government has issued the Request for Proposals (RFP) electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC website, www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Plans and specifications WILL NOT be directly provided in a hard copy format. Notification of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check daily for any posted changes (amendments) to this solicitation?s plans and specifications. Proposals will be due on 10 SEPTEMBER 2002 by 2:00 PM EST.
