- Description
- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure for bilge and tank-cleaning services aboard vessels undergoing repair, renovation, or construction at the U. S. Coast guard YARD. An indefinite-delivery contract is anticipated and the work consist of removal and disposal of waste and/or contaminated sludge oil, fuel, other contaminated liquids and all debris from YARD storage tanks and Sludge Barges. Services may require performance to meet gas-free condition. Services will be performed on vessels or at dry-dock that are located at the U. S. Coast Guard YARD, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD 21226. These services are considered commercial; and the acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The contract will be awarded for one base year and two option years, if exercised. The SIC code for this requirement is 7699. The NAICS Code is 562998 and the small business size standard is $50. The solicitation will be available on or about 20 Sept. 2002.
