Description

The 56th Contracting Squadron at Luke AFB, AZ, intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for purchase of an platform conversion upgrade to the existing system and maintenance service at the Luke AFB, AZ, Library to Epixtech, 400 West 5050 North, Provo, UT. Epixtech has proprietary rights to the software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must provide brochures/literature of the items being offered along with their quote. The technical literature submitted needs to clearly communicate the offerors understanding and compliance with the minimum requirements as set forth in the specifications or any alternative proposal submitted in response to this RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with the offerors; therefore, each offerors initial proposal should be complete and accurate. The Government requires FOB destination. FOB point is Luke AFB, AZ. The period of performance is 1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541511, standard: $18.0 mil. Offerors shall be submitted in writing to the contract specialist, Ms Carol Cherapan and received no later than 4:30 PM (MST) on 26 Aug 02. Arizona does not observe daylight savings time.
