Description

NA The Oregon Army National Guard is intending to sole source the following procurement to Night Vision Equipment Co. The Oregon Army National Guard needs the following as reads: Objective Lens Assembly for the AN/PVS-5 Night Vision Goggles. The Linear Distortion of the objective assembly at the edge of the 18mm shall be between 2.5% and 8.5% Barrel Distortion. Field view shall be 40o + 1/-3. The F/number shall be no greater tha n T/1.25. The stray light shall be no greater than 2.5%. The field flatness / Field tilt shall be within 0.3mm across the entire 18mm format for radial and/or tangential focus. At full aperture, the image illuminance at the edge of the format shall be n o less that 30% of the image illuminance on axis. The weight without the protective cap shall not exceed 104 grams. Award can only be made to a contractor that is registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and those in compliance with VET S-100 reporting requirements. Contractor is required to be Electronic Funds Transfer capable. Closing date for the responses is 18 September 2002 by no later than 3:30 PM Pacific time to this office.
