Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of 3" X 3" Heavy Duty Knitted Polyethylene Flight Netting for the Wolf Creek National Wildlife Refuge, Jamestown, Kentucky. NAISC Code: 313249. Tentative issue date is September 3, 2002. A firm fixed price order will be issued . Award date will be on or about September 24, 2002. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request For Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http//ideasec.nbc.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call (703) 390-6633. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet number. You must obtain this number free of charge at (800) 333-0505. After registration all contractors will be able to view posted solicitations and awards and submit quotes on line. This will be your only means of obtaining this solicitation/award. All contractors with access to the Internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of award. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
