Description

DESCRIPTION: DESC: The National Park Service anticipates issuing a Prospectus for Merchandise, Gift Sales, and Snack Bar operations at Trail Ridge Store in Rocky Mountain National Park. On September 20, 2002, the National Park Service will hold a site visit of Trail Ridge Store beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. This site visit is not required to bid on the Prospectus, but attendance is encouraged. The store will be closed and inaccessible due to snow from approximately October 14, 2002 until May 26, 2003. It is expected that the Prospectus will be issued before the store reopens. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by September 13, 2002, to Anne Dubinsky, Management Specialist, at (970) 586-1209. Services at Trail Ridge Store are seasonal. It generally operates from the end of May through September, commensurate with the seasonal closure of Trail Ridge Road. The gross receipts for this contract have averaged $3.5 million over the past five years. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Once issued the Prospectus will be available for a 60-day response period. Prospectus packages will be available by contacting Judy Jennings, Chief, Business Resources Division, (ROMOPROSP) IMR-CM, National Park Service, Intermountain Region, 12795 W. Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80228. There will be an administrative charge to recoup printing costs for this Prospectus.
