Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52-232-33 (Payment by) Electronic Funds Transfer (--Central Contractor Registration) and DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1998) require registration in the CCR database. CONTRACTORS MAY REGISTER ON-LINE AT HTTP://WWW.CCR2000.COM/. IT?S MANDATORY TO OBTAIN A DUNS NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTERING. CALL DUN & BRADSTREET (1-800-333-0505) TO OBTAIN. AWARD CAN NOT BE MADE UNLESS REGISTERED. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F08650-02-T-0237 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract as a result of this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 and thru Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20020730. NAICS code 561710 and SIC code 7342 are applicable. 45 CONS, Patrick AFB, FL, has a requirement for the following: Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, lifting equipment, transportation, materials and incidentals necessary to install Stealthnet Bird Abatement Kit (Government will furnish kit) in aircraft hanger 750 at Patrick AFB, Florida. Kit includes net, corner attachments, turnbuckles, perimeter cable, hog rings, ferrules, and intermediate attachments. Floor space is approximately 38,560 square feet (241ft x 160ft). Period of performance will be 60 calendar days from date of award. Please submit a list of three references who are able to provide relevant past performance information along with quote.
