- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The NAIC code is 337920 and the size standard is $500.00. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there is no offers received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. This solicitation contains four line item as follows: CLIN 0001: Removal and Disposal of Vinyl Shades and Valances, 17,000 LOT x _________ = __________ . CLIN 0002: Replace, level and align framework and components, 17,000 each x ____________= ______________ CLIN 0003: Vinyl Shades and Valances material, 17,000 each x _________ = ___________ CLIN 004: Installation of Vinyl Shades and Valances, 17,000 each x __________ =___________. GRAND TOTAL________________. Statement of Work: The contractor shall provide all material, parts, equipment, plant, labor, and transportation to remove, dispose and install vinyl shades and valances. The vinyl shades and valances must be mildew resistant, ultraviolet resistant, flame retardant, and water repellent. The contractor shall replace and fatigued and bent framework or components that are no loner serviceable. Level and align all frameworks that hold curtains and valances. The government technical point of contact must approve all material prior to installation. Color: Royal Blue, Approximate Square Feet: 17,000, Height: 19.5", Lengths: Various Material Density: .36 mil thick. Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled on August 22, 2002 at 9:00 am at Andrews AFB MD. All interested participants must meet at Andrews AFB Visitors Center at 8:30 am on August 22, 2002. Participants are encourage to fax the names of the individuals who will attend the site visit to TSgt Jordan by 21 Aug 02. Place of Performance: Andrews AFB, Hangers 1754 & 1280C. Period of Performance: 30 days after notice to proceed. Govt Technical POC: TSgt Peteet, 301-981-2592. FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition, with an addendum. Multiple offerors and awards are hereby deleted from this solicitation. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm until 31 Oct 02. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the most responsive, responsible offers whose offer is the most economical. Offers should be limited to 3 page to include the Offeror Representation and Certifications. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial, with its offer. The following clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212.4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, with addendum; 52.212-3, Notice to Supplier and 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Deviation), DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items and DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration apply to this solicitation. Service Contract Act Wage Determination Number 94-2103, Revision 24 is incorporated into this solicitation and any resultant contract. DPAS rating for this solicitation is S10.
