Description

Solicitation Notice: The Federal Bureau of Prisons; Northeast Regional Contracting Office, c/o FCI Otisville, NY is soliciting for Testing Administration Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) - Ray Brook, NY. The services required are estimated at five days per week for six hours, during a normal workday (7:30a to 4:00p). The Contractor must have a four (4) year degree, preferably in the education field to include at least three (3) years working in a high school level or adult program. This can include counseling, teaching, case work, testing administration, etc. The services to be provided include, but are not limited to ABLE, Pre-GED, GED, CASAS, SABE, NFPT, NOCTI and Post-Secondary education exams, and are to be performed at the Education Department of the FCI. The Contractor will prepare monthly activity reports, quarterly inventory, mail and receive testing materials. In addition, turn in score reports and testing material inventory at the end of each day. The Contractor is responsible for administering and scoring, reporting and safeguarding all formal examinations required in the educational programs. The Education Department will provide all supplies to perform these services. The services will be performed inside the secure perimeter of the Federal Correctional Institution. The performance period will be the base year and the possibility of four option years. This is a small business set-aside, restricted to small businesses eligible to receive award. A security investigation/clearance is required. The solicitation will be available on or after August 28, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government?s best interest.
