Description

Marble Bluff Dam Fish Passage Facility: Marble Bluff Dam Fish Passage Facility is located approximately 3 miles northwest of Nixon, Nevada, in Washoe County, on the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. As a result, this procurement is a Simplified Acquisition; therefore, in accordance with FAR 52.219-6 "Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside", offers are solicited only from small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 235710. The principal components of the work to be performed include the following: constructing a concrete stairway forty-six (46) feet six (6) inches long with an upper and lower landing. The stairway will also have a safety guardrail forty-two (42) inches high with a three (3) foot gate for access. The work may also require some demolition for site preparation. The estimated date for receipt of bids is September 20,2002. Furthermore, the estimated date for the site visit is scheduled for the week of August 26, 2002. Details concerning the site visit and how to register will be in Section L of the solicitation. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site, with the drawings being mailed to you by hardcopy. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed with the exception of the drawings.
