Description

THIS IS AN ELECTRONIC SOLICITATION. WEBB ADDRESS: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation, to include all travel time to and from all work sites, providing Pest Control Services as required by the contract for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona, CA and Surrounding Areas. The work includes the performance of all service work; service calls; periodic checks and indefinite quantity work. All work and material shall be in accordance with the contract, manufacturer's recommendations and the mandatory publications. The Contractor shall control all pests including household pests, rodents, flies, ornamental vegetation and turf pests, and miscellaneous related tasks. The work shall be accomplished by means of a combination firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract. All work under this contract is subject to Service Contract Act Wages. The performance time shall be for twelve months from the contract start date. The duration of this contract including the exercise of any options shall not exceed five years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Sealed Bids and Acknowledgement of amendments should be mailed to the Officer in Charge of Construction, South West Division NAVFACENGCOM, Naval Weapon Station, ROICC Los Angeles Area, Building 230, West Wing, 800 Seal Beach, Blvd., Seal Beach, CA 90740-5000. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Classification Code is 7342. The related small business size standard is $6,000,000.00 and the related NAICS Code is 561710. Specifications will be available on 26 August 2002 by Internet access at the above WEBB address. No deposit is required. Prospective bidders are advised that there will be tours of the job site on 10 and 17 September 2002 at 10:00 A.M. Reservations should be made by calling Richard Runyard at (909) 273-4603 at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled tour. No contractor will be admitted without reservations.
