Description
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for engineering and technical services to support the development, testing, and Fleet Implementation of General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) to meet current and future equipment performance monitoring requirement for Shipboard Prime Electronic Systems in the following task areas: Salient Characteristics; Bid Sample and Production Lot Testing; Electromagnetic Interference Testing; Testing Software Development; Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration Support; GPETE Requirements List Data Management System; Prototype Hardware Development, Research and Development Project Support; Support of Network Security Initiatives and CSAs; Coordination and Maintenance of Network Security Documentation; Computer Application and Database Development, and HPC CERT Support Services, Information Assurance/Computer Security; Program Management Support; Logistics Support; Site Survey Support; MD-1310/U Quality Assurance Testing, and Documentation for Existing Prototype Equipment. The contractor shall provide, on a level-of-effort basis, approximately 52,800 of scientific, technical, engineering, and support hours for the base award and approximately 52,800 per year for each option, if exercised. A detailed statement of work will be issued with the solicitation. The Government anticipates an award of a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract. Period of Performance will be one (1) year with four (4) one-year options. The incumbent contractor is Windermere Information Technology Systems, LLC located at 2000 Windermere Court, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511 and the dollar amount is $21,000,000. The NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Number Notes: 1 and 26 apply.
