- Questions and Answers 1. Does NASA need to uplink to a specific satellite/transponder? Yes, we need to uplink to the PBS satellite. This is something that only NETA can do. 2. Are downlinks already in place or do they need to be installed? Yes. The downlinks are fixed and set by the PBS stations for the PBS satellite. 3. Are there any requirements for content security or conditional access? No. However, only PBS stations can access the PBS satellite.
