Description

The contractor shall furnish cable/satellite T.V. for lodging facilities to include 54 rooms in the VAQ?s (Visitor Airman?s Quarters), two dayrooms to include the lodging lobby. (12) hook-ups at the VOQ?s (Visitor?s Officer Quarters) building 2358 A, B, C and D. (2) hook-ups at building 2360 A & B (Environmental House) (2) hook-ups at building 3096 (56 RMO/QAE office) The total of 73 drops. These hook-ups are 4 separate buildings. (Note: All building mentioned above are presently hard wired in with a local cable company.) The contractor shall be responsible for all parts and labor throughout the term of the contract. The system shall have all current upgrades as required or as needed. Maintenance shall be provided by the contractor at no cost to the government for the term of the contract. Repairs shall be provided within 24 hours of any problem. If problems occur in the late hours of night the contractor shall respond the next day to facilitate repairs. Contractor shall be responsible to maintain all equipment with current/updated parts. The contractor shall own/maintain all parts for the full term of the contract. If at anytime equipment or parts are stolen the government will be responsible for replacement and service calls only after an investigation is conducted. Channels* shall be selected by the government and pay only prices listed by the contractor as a package. All channel upgrades and packages will be negotiated through 56 Contracting Squadron at Luke AFB. The government has the option to negotiate price changes prior to termination of present contract to assure no brake in service between contracts. Contracts will be set for a basic year with 4 one year options. * Channels shall be as listed at a minimum. ESPN, CNN, TNT, TBS, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, USA, WEATHER CHANNEL, CARTOON NETWORK, LEARNING CHANNEL, CNN HEADLINE NEWS, MTV, VH1, NICKELODEON, TV, LAND, COMEDY CENTRAL, and Phoenix local channels; ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX.
