Description

Provide pavement markings on roads, parking lots, other pavement markings throughout the Air Force Academy, and airfield markings, two sites on the Air Force Academy, and a third site, the Auxiliary Airfield at Ellicott, Colorado (approximately 23 miles east of Colorado Springs). A resulting an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will consist of a base year plus four (4) one year option periods. There is a minimum of $10,000.00 worth of work guarantee for the base year only. At this time we anticipate a yearly requirement of 600,000 SF of reflective marking split evenly between yellow and white, 250,000 SF of non-reflective white, 50,000 SF non-reflective yellow, 160,000 SF of reflective white (Airfield) and 42,000 SF reflective yellow (Airfield). It is anticipated that some marking layout will be required. A greater portion of the above quantities represent a twice a year (spring & fall), one week duration each, application to roadways and parking lots. The above quantities will be impacted if we elect to omit the fall roadway and parking lot pavement markings. Contract period will be from the date of contract award through 30 September 2003, with subsequent option year period of 1 October thru 30 September. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAISC) proposed is 235210, and the business size is 11.5M. This solicitation is unrestricted (full and open competition) in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program with an estimated yearly, full scope, magnitude in the $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 range. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled for issuance on or about 10 Sep 2002 with a closing date on or about 10 Oct 02 utilizing the Government?s Electronic Posting System (EPS).
