Description
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis 1,172,500 hours of engineering and technical services to support Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) machinery and systems on U.S. Navy vessels, other Federal Agency vessels, and select land based sites. The Statement of Work (SOW) covers a full-spectrum of requirements including engineering services for in-services and prototype systems, test and evaluation, technology insertion using NDI/COTS applications, shipboard installation, logistics support and SUBSAFE/Level-I Material. The engineering and technical support services are accomplished in all areas where U.S. Navy ships operate and are homeported. Examples of the HM&E machinery and systems that are supported by the engineering and technical services is as follows: HAVAC Support Systems; Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Sys tems; Automated Control Systems; Command and Control Systems; Communication Systems; Compressed Air Systems; Condition Assessement Systems; Deck Machinery Systems; Electronic Warfare Systems; Electronic Power Systems; Electronics Cooling Water Systems; Electronic Countermeasures: Environmental Systems; Firemain Systems; Gun Weapons Systems; Habitability Systems; Local Area Networks; Material Hnadling Systems; Missile Booster Suppression Systems; Nevigation Systems; Search Radars; Sensor Systems; Ship Handling Systems; Ship Survivability Systems; Sonar Systems; Steam Generation Systems; Submarine Systems; Submarine Sail Systems; Submarine Fluid Systems and Auxiliary Equipment; Surface Missile Systems (SMS); Vertical Lauch Systems - Support Systems; Weapons Handling Systems; Main Propulsion Equipment and AIT Support.
