- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services in the Melbourne, Florida area for the drug abuse treatment of male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. A Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements type contract is anticipated for a one-year base period and four one-year options. An estimated 8 inmates for the base period, estimated 9 inmates for option year one, estimated 10 inmates for option year two, estimated 11 inmates for option year three, and estimated 12 inmates for option year four will require services. Services for the one-year base period will be performed from October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003. The services required for the contract include: (1) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); (2) Individual Counseling (48 30-minute sessions per inmate); (3) Group Counseling (48 30-minute sessions per inmate); and (4) Family Counseling (12 30-minute sessions per inmate). The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)" Statement of Work. The solicitation will be available on or after June 7, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is July 8, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
