Description

Work to include but not limited to the abatement of asbestos from selected air handling mechanical rooms throughout the building and to insulate the same areas with fiberglass. The building is fully occupied and extreme care shall be given to remove existing materials as well as to bring new materials into the various rooms within the building. This work is reserved for small business. The NAICS code for this work is 235990. The estimated cost for this project is $60,000 to $99,000. This procurement is anticipated to be funded. The procurement is not available electronically. Interested parties must request a copy of the solicitation to determine the full scope of work. Although a site visit is not required it is encouraged to review the work areas and egress requirements for the work. Contractor, to be considered as a bidder for this work, must have a primary or branch office inside the US within 250 miles of this Federal facility. Any request for solicitation must be in writing or by fax on official company letterhead accompanied by an original signature and must include the companies tax id and DUNS number on the request.
