Description
The contractor shall provide the labor, parts, test equipment, and facilities necessary to upgrade the USCG-owned WESCAM 12D200 System utilized on the US Coast Guard HH65A aircraft. The contractor shall also provide maintenance and technical support services to support this system. The manufacturer is WESCAM, 649 North Service Rd. W., Burlington, Ontario Canada L7P 5B9. Delivery of the upgraded systems are required no later than 7 months following contract award. Period of performance is date of award through one year thereafter with one (1) one-year option. Contract award is anticipated to WESCAM in Ontario, Canada on a sole-source basis. Drawings and specifications are not available from the Coast Guard. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. Sources shall be certified by the OEM to perform the required tasks of this requirement. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing. The Government intends to use FAR Part 12. Contract award will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedure Test Program. Attention: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBES)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the forms of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
