Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, F45613-02-Q-B043, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 421410. The Small Business size standard is 100 employees. This project is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The contractor shall provide one Sony DVW-A500 Digital Betacam Editing Recorder and one Sony RMM-110 US Rackmount Kit for the DVW-A500, brand name or equal. The following Provisions and Clauses apply to this announcement: Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors--Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items (Jan 1999) apply to this acquisition and is completed as follows: (a) the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers ?. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, past performance and other factors considered. Addenda to FAR 52.212-2 include FAR 52.211-6/ Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999). FAR 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (July 2002) Alt I (April 2002) apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items (Feb 2002) is applicable to this acquisition.
