Description

The US Coast Guard, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for, a contractor to procure and install an automated boiler water chemistry monitoring and control system, on the USCGC MUNRO, at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. Work will be accomplished during the period of 23 Sept through 25 Oct 2002. Approximately 15 days after this notice, an IFB will be issued, in accordance with the SBCP. For Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts, loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP)at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further information concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at 1-800-532-1169. Internet address: http://osdbuweb.dot.gov. The solicitation and specification package will be available via electronic means on the FEDBizOpps website at www.eps.gov.
