Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.101(a), 5.207(d), and 5.207(g). The Department has a requirement for 15 explosive containment trash receptacles in its Headquarters building, located in Washington, D.C. The trash receptacles must be manufactured from solid stainless steel, have protective criteria up to 2 lbs. TNT, and have a holding capacity of 30 gallons. This procurement is a 100% small-business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification (NAIC) code for this procurement is 333319 (Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing (PT)) with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Companies wishing to respond to this solicitation must provide this office with a quote for the requested items submitted on your company letterhead or your standard company proposal forms showing solicitation number, unit price, and a copy of the specifications of the item you intend to provide.
