- Description
- The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services, Emergency Services and Disaster Relief Branch, through the Program Support Center, plans to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures. To the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD), 66 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 302, Alexandra, VA 22314. The anticipated date of award is September 09, 2002. This requirement for All Hazards Planning Curriculum, Training and Regional Consultation will enhance the activities of the efforts at the state and local levels by providing in-depth materials aimed at practical approaches to the development of an All Hazards disaster mental health plan, a comprehensive curriculum and regional on-site training and technical assistance by trained professionals. The Proposed Simplified Acquisition Action Is for Supplies and Services for Which the Government Intends to Solicit and Negotiate with Only One Source under Authority of Far 6.302. Interested Persons May Identify Their Interest and Capability to Respond to the Requirement Or Submit Capability Statement Within 10 Days after the Date of Publication of the Notice. A Determination by the Government Not to Compete this Proposed Simplified Acquisitions Based upon Responses to this Notice Is Solely Within the Discretion of The Government. Information Received Will Normally Be Considered Solely for the Purpose of Determining Whether to Conduct A Competitive Procurement. No Solicitation Is Available.
