Description
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Office of Managed Care (OMC), through Program Support Center, plans to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures. To the National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH), 1015 18th Street, NW, Suite 730, Washington D.C. 20036. The period of performance will be twelve months from date of award. The anticipated award is September 6, 2002. The purpose of this project are to refine the behavioral health portions of the National Standardized Request for Information (RFI), to develop and test modules on substance abuse and integration of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and health care benefits, and evaluation of the RFI process to enable employer coalitions, employers, and other health care purchasers to assess the quality of behavioral health care services provided by managed care plans serving their communities and to support quality improvement initiatives. The Proposed Simplified Acquisition Action Is for Supplies and Services for Which the Government Intends to Solicit and Negotiate with Only One Source under Authority of Far 6.302. Interested Persons May Identify Their Interest and Capability to Respond to the Requirement or Submit Capability Statement Within 10 Days after the Date of Publication of the Notice. A Determination by the Government Not to Compete this Proposed Simplified Acquisitions Based upon Responses to this Notice Is Solely Within the Discretion of The Government. Information Received Will Normally Be Considered Solely for the Purpose of Determining Whether to Conduct A Competitive Procurement. No Solicitation Is Available.
