Description
The Bureau of Labor Statistics intends to award Washington State University Social & Economic Sciences Research Center, Wilson Hall Room 133,PO Box 644014 Pullman, WA. 99164-4014 for Employee Survey in accordance with FAR Part 13, NTE $22,588.00. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) developed and conducted an employee survey in 1999 and plans to repeat that survey during the summer of 2002. The primary reasons for repeating the survey are: ?h to determine the extent to which improvements that were implemented after the 1999 survey have increased employee job satisfaction and morale; and ?h to determine the extent to which areas of general satisfaction in 1999 have been maintained and/or enhanced. The contractor will administer and analyze the employee survey using a web-based application located on the contractor's server. The contractor will also need to allow for the processing of paper surveys as described below in Section III sub section 2. Based on the experience with the 1999 survey, it should be expected that there would be 200 or less paper responses. Both the survey instrument and the responses to the survey are proprietary data. As such, the survey and the responses may not be mentioned, used or stored by This notice of intent is not a request for offers. Determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties may express their interest to the Contracting Officer by the due date of this notice of intent either by e-mail or facsimile at 202-691-6026. If there are no affirmative written responses received with (15) calendar days form the published date of this notice; the Bureau of Labor Statistics will proceed with the awarded. This notice is for information purposes only No solicitation will be available. Correspondence must reference this notification number.
