Watts/LPKPB/[405] 739-7534 Item 0001/0002 NSN 2915-01-343-2931PR, P/N: 1534M60P04, Item Description: Temperature is sensed by a sensing coil-contains internally: Reference bellows, metering value, preload springs, sensing bellows, tube from sensing coil. Dimensions: Length 3.0 IN, Width 4.39 IN, Height 2.4 IN. Material: Stainless steel strut, cast aluminum body, machined aluminum and inconel parts and zirc alloy sensing coils. Function: acts as a temperature sensor and transducer unit for main engine control. Delivery: 28 FEB 2003, BEQ 14/6 ea ? total BEQ 20 each. Quantity ranges apply: 1-9 / 10-18 / 19-26 each. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001/0002. The approximate proposal/quote response submission date will be 07 OCT 2002. Electronic posting procedures will be used for this solicitation. To: GE Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati OH 45215. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation.
