Description

NA ALL REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SHALL BE DIRECTED TO THE FOLLOWING: AMSAM-AC-LS, WILLIS EPPS, CONTRACTING OFFICER, NASU BETHEA, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, (256) 842-7602. FAX (256) 842-6302. E-mail nasu.bethea@redstone.army.mil **TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED** This effort is for Contractor Operated Depot Level Repair and Return of AMCOM managed supporting assemblies and subassemblies of the IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION SUBSYSTEM (IBAS), BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE SYSTEM (BFVS). The basic contractual effort will e ncompass items that become unserviceable beginning FY03 through Dec 04. This effort will also include options for FY 03 through FY05. The RFP will be issued Raytheon Systems Company 2501 W. University, P.O. Box 801, McKinney, TX 75070-0801 (vendor code 9 6214), and DRS Optronics Inc., 2330 Commerce Park Dr, N.E., Palm Bay, FL 32905 (vendor code 32865). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not clos e prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negoti ate with only one source. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, makes contact with the above listed firms. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and qu ality requirements, is not available. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
