Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a one year sole source requirements contract, with four one year options, to Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Defense Mission Systems, 4010 Sorrento Valley Blvd., San Diego, CA 92121-1498 (formerly Logicon, Inc.) to provide various Link Interoperability Equipment and related engineering services. The Link Interoperability Equipment incorporates the Multiple Link System Test/Training Tool (MLST3) and the Multi Link Test Tool (MLTT) which consist of simulation and monitoring equipment for various tactical data links and simulation interfaces, including but not limited to Link 11, Link 4A, Link 16, Link 22 and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS); MLST3/MLTT Accessory Group consisting of specialized components, spares and ancillary equipment to enhance the utility and maintenance of MLST3/MLTT with command/control test/training systems consisting of automated tools which are integrated with MLST3/MLTT to provide visual and audio signals for air and surface simulation; Link Monitor Systems (LMS) consisting of monitoring and management equipment for Link 11, Link 16, and Multiple Links; LMS Accessory Group consisting of specialized spares and ancillary equipment to enhance the utility and maintenance of the LMS equipment; and Link 11 audio simulation systems to generate and monitor the complex Link 11 audio waveform. Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Inc. is the only qualified producer of the MLST3 and MLTT. This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subcontractors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein. Therefore, solicitation documents are not available; parties interested in pursuing subcontracti ng opportunities are encouraged to contact the subcontracting department at the above address.
