Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please reference NMA-100-02-Q-0019 with you quote and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This solicitation will be set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 335311. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to purchase a total of 83 Power Distribution Controllers to meet urgent and compelling renovation procedures. All Power Distribution must meet the following description: Must be a 19" rack mountable power controller that is 120V and 30A twist lock. Must have NEMA 5-15 receptacles with a 15" cable with an L5-30P. The unit must also power up the three switched sections and sequenced remote with the four-second delay. Delivery is FOB Destination 30 days after award. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this solicitation: provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial items applies to this acquisition with no addenda. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. All quotes must be received by 9:00AM.on September 3, 2002. All quotes must be submitted by Facsimile at 301-227-2306. No quotes will be accepted via telephone.
